A History of Excellence
The Past, Present, and Future of LA DOMINGA
LA DOMINGA is a family-owned business founded in 2013. The name is a tribute to the effort of the family's grandmother Tercilia Dominga, an Italian immigrant.
Our cabaña is located in Ischilín, a town in the northwest of Córdoba. This is a very important fact, as it is the place where our roots are and where we put our effort and passion to protect the environment.
We do artisanal work and we strive to give our best. The cabaña and the farm are our vocation. The people who collaborate with our project, as well as our clients, are part of our family. That is why we foster relationships based on a logic of mutual care. We feel LA DOMINGA as our home.
So far, we have developed a genetic program for the Braford breed that has demonstrated its excellence by providing resistance, adaptability, and predictability in extreme conditions to the breed, among other attributes. We have also improved its phenotype with outstanding results.
Our model is based on constant technological innovation and it is highly committed to environmental sustainability. We believe that with clear objectives, dedicated work, and alignment with the latest trends, the livestock industry will develop the excellence it deserves.

The Argentine carob tree or white carob is a particular tree species. It has a powerful root that descends to great depth, giving it support. Its trunk is robust and branched, and it usually draws attention because of its shape. The crown is wide so it provides shade and shelter. This tree is part of the physiognomy of northern Córdoba. It resists various climates and gives shelter to people traveling through these lands. A tree is the DNA of a place as it gives its identity. The tree is a guide towards the future which takes care of the past and lives in the present.
